Ganesha - gets a Garnet Necklace!

Ganesha, my good friend, received a royal necklace yesterday. It's 3mm garnets, brought all the way from his home in India (via one of the many beadshows that I have gone to). Ganesha was properly thankful for his gift that he bestowed one upon me - a weight loss of 3.6 pounds this week.

The mouse sits quietly hoping that a garnet will fall in his direction. Only time will tell.

Thank you Lord Ganesha for my gift.

This is a quite cute ganesha. I have already taken him into my heart. The colours are very nice!

So lovely -- your beading is perfection -- how do you get them all to lay so perfectly? Couching? Anyway, however you do it, it is fantastic!

Thanks BG - I do use couching. Sometimes I lay 5-6 beads and couch, sometimes I can lay a line of 60 beads (not that I count). I have used two threads at time, but that's not my favorite way to work on it.

Thanks for the reply, Liz. I feel like I'm all thumbs when I do couching -- perhaps this will improve with practice. Just keep beading, right? Thanks again.
