Convo me.....

...what does this me? When googling the phrase, I learned that it means to have a conversation with someone - on line, text or a call back...

But "Convo me if you need more information"? No - I don't conversation you but:

  • I will call you

  • I will email you

  • I will text you

  • I will meet you

But I won't convo you.

(Or do I just need to get with the program?)

Just because someone wants to be stupid and can't use the English language well, doesn't mean I have to get with any program. I'm assuming it doesn't mean you have to either.

I mostly see this on Etsy, so I guess it started there. I'd much rather you "tweet" me LOL

Thanks all - so it's not just me. Although I was thinking of my post last night (no, alcohol wasn't involved), and I realized that new phrases are always coming out.

Groovy
Catch you later
Stoned (certainly doesn't mean the same now as it did in the middle ages)
Cool (I remember a doctor I know from overseas when he asked a patient how he was, the patient replied "Cool" and the doctor went to find him a blanket. He was so embarrassed to find out that it also means "okay")

But I still am not going to convo anyone!!

"Convo me"? Seriously? Yeah, that's just stupid. You're not alone.

All words are made up.

I just googled "Convo me" (after seeing it on Etsy) and landed here. Had to post a "lol" to Carol's comment. I noticed the period and then the word "brother" and really did laugh out loud because it reminded me of Desmond on Lost. :)
