2008 Bead Journal Project Completed!

Completely completed!! Several weeks ago, I framed the pieces in shallow shadow boxes from Joann, Etc. About 15 minutes ago, they were hung over my dining room window (please no comments about the dust on the blinds!! I don't have time to dust when I am beading!!) - I love them!

How cool. I'm planning on getting this year's work done by August and here you are already done. I see you used the octagon again. It looks like an unusual shape to work with.

Dust? What dust? Don't bother me I'm beading!

Fabulous, Liz!!!! It's so wonderful that you'll be able to see (and show them off) every day! You can be very proud of yourself.

I think many of us keep our work in boxes... This is a much better idea.

Hugs, Robin A.

Hi Mary - I guess my years are off - this is my 2007-8 bead journal project, which I called my 2008, but it's what everyone else is calling 2007. My bad.

But I'm glad that you like it.

Robin - I was thinking long and hard about what to do when I spied this shadow box shape in the store. At about $14 apiece, it was worth a try. I am pleased with them (and we as artists don't say that we are pleased enough!).

You did it! Congrats on finishing and on displaying them so nicely where everyone including you can see them. I like this idea and will probably steal if from you for this year! Beautiful!
