Okay, I've been tagged by Arline - even though I honestly think that no one wants to know anything about me! Here are the rules:
1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Now to the facts about me:
1. I love shoes so much that I have promised my husband that if I bring in new shoes, I have to get rid of the same number of pairs of old shoes.
2. I love, love, love to travel. It's the reason that I work. That, and health insurance.
3. My brother died due to complications of liver transplant anti rejections medications several years ago. I am still angry at him for lying to me and other family members about his care - he told us that he was compliant. He wasn't. If he was compliant - he might still be alive.
4. I vote in most elections because I was told a long time ago "if you don't vote; you can't bitch."
5. I have done things in my past that were dangerous and stupid.
6. I would love to speak the Korean and Arabic languages. What is stopping me is that it's not very easy being that the alphabet is different.
7. I love Skittles......
I'm not going to tag anyone, but I invite people to leave a comment here with one or two things that we might not know about them........
Have fun with this!

OK - I collect and read cookbooks, the older more written in, the better.
You are wrong, we all want to know about you. Not telling about myself here because I was tagged too! I love your clown.
I love skittles too.
Nice tag piece. I tried learning Hindi when I was 18 ; funnily enough learning the alphabet wasn't the hardest part. Maybe you should try learning at least one of these languages !
Thank everyone for sharing! Helene - does it count if I already know the bad words in Arabic???
Judith - Cookbooks? I need a book to learn to cook???
Denise - do you have a favorite color??
Carol - I'm going to get to your page and see your seven things....
Hi, Liz,
thanks for sharing seven personal things. I was tagged the other day, undug seven things and posted them on my blog, nothing spectacular. (I keep the more spectacular stuff to myself, like you said: dangerous and stupid ...)
I don't know about Korean, but the Arabic alphabet is not too hard to learn, the language itself is harder. There are sun and moon letters, isn't that lovely? You could start with learning the numbers, very useful.
I will tell you how I learned to count up to ten in Arabic: One day, when I was still rather new to Cairo, I went by taxi, and as usual the driver and I got talking. We ended up with him teaching me to count in Arabic and me teaching him to count in German. Our mutual language was English. I don't know which of us was happier when the drive ended after twenty minutes and both of us had learned something new.
Regards,
Sabine
I have a secret obsession with shoes, and I am finding that I love to travel too! I think next year I will go to Venice! :D
Shoes!!! Ah, lovely, lovely shoes!!! My brother paints them when they get a little worn looking... gold, bronze, metallic blue and purple spray paint. They look so cool... I haven't done it yet, because by the time they look worn (or even before) they aren't comfortable any more. I loved reading your 7 things post, Liz... thanks for doing it and also for the way you handled naming 7 new "victims." Cheers, Robin
Yes, we want to know about you. Just keep the information coming! How old are the dogs? Who are you in the picture?
