Please take the time to vote!!

Next Tuesday is election day. Please take the time to vote for the politician that will hurt you and your family less. Spend 5 minutes looking up your local proposals and determine where you stand.

My mother told me when I was old enough to vote that it was my duty as a citizen. And if you don't vote you can't bitch.

Next Tuesday - take the time to vote.....

We can vote early or by absentee ballot here in Indiana. I am such an activist that I have been pushing that here.

Thanks for the post.
750 people on average have been voting each day in St. Joseph County, Indiana

I have voted! Early by mail in because that's what they offer here and I love it. Took me two days to go through the various amendments, etc. but well worth it. Over 25% of Colorado voters have already voted. Yea!

I've already voted as well since we have early voting here in California. I'll actually be working the polls next Tuesday as a clerk. The local Registrar of Voters is estimating a 74% turnout of registered voters which is HUGE compared to the normal turnout of about 35-40%!

Good job all!! Voting is important, even though we sometimes feel that we don't make a difference. I do wish that Michigan would have early voting - although I could do an absentee ballot.

I have some good state and local proposals to consider:

1. Use and cultivation of marijuana for specified medical conditions
2. Human Embryo and Human embryonic stem cell research in Michigan
3. Millage renewal and reduction for one of the local community colleges.

Don't worry - I'm setting my alarm on that day! As Al Capone said, vote early and vote often! :D
