March! March is a month that is completely unpredictable in metro Detroit. It could be nice and sunny with beautiful temps or it can rain every day or it can snow the entire month. This March was pretty cold, with lots of snow; but we always celebrate the coming of spring. For my March Bead Journal project, I looked at the celebration of spring with my Goddesses that were designed by fellow Buzzard, Debb Pflanz. The background is a mix of vintage sequins and size 15 seed beads (and a few size 18 seeds).

Oh, I like this one. It reminds me of a ballet in a flower garden.

My comment is about your December piece. It is one of my favorites! I love your "out of the box" thinking on that one.
This piece is really beautiful also. It reminds me of goddesses.
Brenda - really? Hmmmm, maybe I need to look at it with new eyes. I guess I just need to accept what I did and move on.....
I agree with abeadlady about March looking like a ballet in a flower garden. I like the imagery of that thought.
About December - sometimes I think it's good to have a piece you don't like, because it can say a lot to you and make you think about why it bothers you (beyond technical or style issues).
These goddess gals are so much fun! Generally the upraised arms thing doesn't particularly float my boat, but here they look like they're dancing for joy! Makes me happy to look at this piece!
Wow, Liz -- this page just makes me feel happy all over. Beautiful job!
